We know about barriers to participation, such as affordability, lack of transportation and low self-esteem.

The underlying factors that create barriers are related not only to income, but also social, environmental, cultural and systemic conditions in our communities.

It will take a whole community to get everybody active. The first step is to learn how poverty can affect health and participation in our communities.
